Is it okay to be normal?…

Valuable thoughts and philosophical generalizations are sometimes not born at the desk. As psychologists say, “insight caught up”…

Recently, my friends and I went fishing; there were newcomers who were given their branded fishing rods in their hands for the first time. Even a worm was put on for them; even this is unknown to them. So what’s the result? They had the biggest fish, and the “pros” had to assist, setting up the gear, putting their catch in a bucket, sometimes adding their own change… Of course, everything was good-natured and fun.

In the professional sphere, it happens the same way, when you are equipped with everything for serious achievements, suddenly some newcomer, bam, bypasses you. And there is a feeling that you need to learn more for success and tangible results. And then again. And further…

And we compare ourselves with someone else’s random luck or unconsciously focus on collective, overall success, believing that we must achieve the same level. We also spur ourselves on with the calls of the “infogypsies”: “There are no limits to your capabilities!” All this together creates enormous tension and even neurotic reactions, burnout and complete loss of strength.

How important it is to realize your resources, your true, own desires, to feel normal when someone nearby catches a “big fish”.
